How we handle your data.

Plain language, because that is the point. This covers the information you give us when you request access or use CreditSentry. We are a small team onboarding a handful of design partners; we keep this short and we mean it.

What we collect

• What you tell us. Your name, work email, firm (if you give it), and the names you ask us to cover.
• How you use the product. Once you have an account: which names are on your watchlist, when you open a digest or click an alert, and corrections or notes you send back. We use this to run your coverage and to tune it for the names you hold.
• Basic technical data. Your IP address and browser user-agent, kept briefly to stop abuse of the sign-up form. We do not run third-party advertising or cross-site tracking, and we do not use tracking cookies — only a sign-in cookie once you have an account.

What we do with it

• Get in touch with you about access.
• Set up and run monitoring for the names you cover.
• Improve the accuracy of your coverage from the corrections you send.

That is the whole list. We do not sell or rent your information, we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing, and we will not add you to a marketing list.

The names you enter

The companies you ask us to cover are public issuers, and everything we monitor about them comes from public sources — SEC filings, rating actions, and news. Your watchlist — the fact that you cover a particular name — is yours: we treat it as confidential and never disclose one customer’s coverage to another.

Where it lives, and for how long

Your data is stored on servers we control. We keep access requests while we are considering and setting up your account, and account data for as long as you use the product. Ask us to delete your information and we will, unless we are required to keep something to meet a legal obligation.

Who else touches it

We rely on a small number of infrastructure providers — for hosting, email delivery, and sign-in with Google — who process data on our behalf so the product works. They are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes. Signing in with Google shares only your name and email address with us; it does not give us access to your Google account.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted — just email us. If you have an account you can remove names from your watchlist or close the account at any time.
